Burmese Translation

To communicate effectively with today-multicultural community, you do need a good ambassador who knows languages as the back of its hand. I am here to help you achieve your goal in dealing with Burmese speakers.

 

I have experience in translating from English to Burmese and from Burmese to English. I have the expertise, knowledge, and education in the fields of law, accounting, taxation, economics, and finance, and have a very sound knowledge of medical translation and migration matters. Translations are available from a simple letter to a complex nature of technical translation such as above-mentioned fields.

 

My background in the past was a judicial officer in one of the township courts in Yangon Area in Myanmar. Law was my working expertise as a Second Judge of a township court in which I had handled criminal and civil cases. After migrating to Australia, I obtained Australian education of Diploma in Business, Advanced Diploma of Accounting from Adelaide TAFE College, and Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting from Southern Queensland University, respectively. I gained accreditation for Interpreting from NAATI, National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters, in 2003. Since then, I have been practicing as Interpreter in the State of South Australia. Currently I am one of the contract Interpreters with TIS, Translating and Interpreting Services, which is an agency under the Department of Home Affairs.

 

I gained accreditation for Translation from NAATI in early 2005, and since then I have been practicing as translator. Accreditation of translation includes both language directions for Burmese and English.

 

I recently gained the next level of translator credential from NAATI which is a Certified Translator from Burmese to English. And I have recently graduated the course of Graduate Diploma of Australian Migration Law and Practice from the Griffith University.

 

For identification purposes, I have a translator ID Card issued by FIT, International Federation of Translators. I am a member of AUSTI (Australian Institute of Translators and Interpreters).
